Education Sector

It is mandatory by law for caterers to provide information (written or oral) on the presence of the fourteen allergens, including gluten (wheat, barley, rye and oats), as deliberate ingredients within a dish and we can help you do that. Our education sector gluten free training course is designed specifically for the staff who work in schools, colleges and universities and tailored to the challenges of delivering safe gluten free food in this environment.

Schools and nurseries

Schools and nurseries have a duty of care to provide for the needs of children in their care. The Children’s and Families Act 2014 states that all state funded schools in England, including academies and free schools in England, must make arrangements for supporting children with medical conditions. It also places a legal duty on these schools to offer a free school lunch to all pupils in reception, year 1 and year 2. Our gluten free training can help you understand how to cater for pupils who have coeliac disease so that you meet the requirements of the legislation.

Universities/Further Education Colleges
Decisions on where to study next can often be influenced by good gluten free provision. By taking our gluten free training you can demonstrate to prospective students that they will be well catered for if they decide to attend your establishment. Don’t miss out on new sign ups, take our training course.

The online course takes around 1.5 hours to complete and can be returned to, as many times as is needed, until completion.
